Persis2 Posted Thursday at 06:02 PM Posted Thursday at 06:02 PM (edited) Hi everyoone good day, i know this sounds crazy but please spare me im just a noobie. I have a source i bought it from someone in tg. Just using the source for private purpose i open it just for my relatives and friends so we can play together at first i can manage to log in but after the vps is expired (which is free its a package with the source) i tried to transfer the source in my pc. After i setup it and its up and running but i cant log in the game and i figured it out its because of the Guard.dat they said i need to change the ip address inside but the problem is its encrypted i tried to find a way to decrypt it but i failed. They said i need to spend 100$ for it to be open i cant manage to spend more, maybe you can help me how to open this Guard.dat file? is there any tutorial i can follow? Spirited Posted Thursday at 08:08 PM Posted Thursday at 08:08 PM Sounds like something they cooked up to make money per IP address. Lol - kinda genius for people who just constantly recycle servers. Quote

Yeah, it's why we have a community warnings / expectations thread about not purchasing projects. It's a scam 100% of the time at this point. Very predatory. Quote
Paradox Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago even though your question has been answered I will add that there are a ton of free loaders on the market that allow you to change the IP but most purchased loaders tend to have locked .dat files that have your connection info so you cant just use the loader they made for it across many setups or any host without talking or dealing with the creator. I have not spent much time on 6609 setups but there are so many sources/loaders out there for 6609 setups that you can download another source or loader and transfer it over to your specific source so you can have it changeable whenever. Before going through all of that bs though try right clicking on the guard.dat and opening it with 7zip, a lot of loaders that are not specifically locked require you to use 7zip to gain access to a file called "outenserver" which from there you can change the IP and whatever else you want to your IP and server name. I attached a photo in this message that is of an open loader for a 6609 setup that requires you to use 7zip to gain access to the connection config file. If you haven't had your situation taken care of already I hope this info helps! Quote
