Paradox Posted July 16 Posted July 16 (edited) Here is a tool/project that will allow you to decrypt and then encrypt again after making changes to the majority of .dat files. All you need to do is drag the .dat file you wish to decrypt/encrypt into the exe and then either type 1 or 2 and press enter and the file you dragged will now be decrypted or encrypted again. This is not my tool and I did not make it but the original creator is sharing and posting in on forums and groups for the public so for the few here that are working on 3.0 setups I figured it would be appreciated if it was shared. its extremely basic to use and the entire VS project is there so you can build upon it however you want or make your own tool. Yes it works for itemtype and 90% of the other .dat files so now we are 1 step closer to the 3.0 client being as open as 1.0-2.0 clients. Enjoy 3.0 Conquer client decrypt and encrypt tool.zip Edit - Tool is already compiled and ready to be used feel free to scan if you dont trust bitdefender or me(which is reasonable since I am newer here) 3.0 Conquer client decrypt and encrypt tool.zip Edited July 17 by Paradox Add file/virus scan photos of the uploaded zip file and to add photo for creator credit Quote

Spirited Posted July 17 Posted July 17 I'm not against linking to other boards, I just don't see the point in this case. @Paradox You mentioned it's open-source? Where can we view the repo for this? Thanks for your contributions. Quote

I misspoke as there is no repo or public post where others can contribute or connect with the creator to work on it. what i meant was that inside of the zip is the .sln/csproj files, I was in a rush when posting this and just gave a general post for any info people could need but ended up having to edit it like 5 times and just forgot to edit that part. Shang Posted July 17 Posted July 17 At least should have given the owner of the repo his credit Quote

I did use .zip instead of rar so the file was smaller and I could see your point. Even though it is public now it would be nice for you to add some sort of credit towards the original creator like it originally has. As seeing the entire project was shared and can very easily be built upon it will only be a matter of time until 20 people make some sort of edit, ignore all that and call it their own creation so thanks for at least sharing for those who get confused when they see a cmd window pop up.
