Spirited
Most people just re-skin existing garments or import them from the modern client. They don't really make new garments from scratch (because that would require modifying / creating a new C3 model).
Dipster
ok so is there any program that i can view the garment in, i have quite a lot of custom garments and can use gimp to edit them but cant view them, i also have a lot of the effects that can i can edit the c3 file to attach it to the garment been given this as a walkthrough for it3DTexture.ini:reference the .dds files with a custom id that you make updo the same in 3DEffectObj.ini but for the .c3 files3Deffect.ini:[YOUR_EFFECT_NAME]Amount=2 <<< total amount of combinations, up the key values by 1 starting from 0EffectId0=9671 <<< add the id you made up in 3DEffectObj.ini TextureId0=9671 <<< add the effect id you made up in 3d textureASB0=5 << don't touch this valueADB0=2 << don't touch this valueEffectId1=9672TextureId1=9672ASB1=5ADB1=2EffectId2=9673TextureId2=9673ASB2=5ADB2=2Delay=0 <<< defaultLoopTime=99999999 <<< defaultFrameInterval=33 <<< defaultLoopInterval=0 <<< defaultOffsetX=0 <<< defaultOffsetY=0 <<< defaultOffsetZ=0 <<< defaultColorEnable=1 <<< defaultLev=1 <<< defaultAction3DEffect.ini:[999.111. << append item id but replace the last digit with a 0] = [name of effect in 3deffect.ini]
Spirited
Well, you're modifying the DDS texture file the way I used to a decade ago. Unfortunately, I don't know of a better way. I don't think there's been any public tooling for C3 editing. You could try the Blender plugin for C3 Tachyon is working on: You can also try contributing to his open source project if you find a problem. I can't say I remember all of the steps for adding garments.
