Hello adventurers!

BruteCO is my baby. I mean.. a semi-classic Conquer server that blends the beloved elements of the original game with innovative features and custom content. Our mission? To create an engaging, fair, and fun environment that’s constantly evolving via the community's input and whatever creative ideas I myself can conjure up. It's often a lot of work on my behalf making everyone happy, but it's all worth it in the end!

NA Hosted:

Ensuring smooth gameplay for a wide audience.

Need-to-Knows:

Level 137 Max, +12 Max, 2nd Reborn Max, No Talismans, No Battle Power/Potency, No Item Lock, No Mentors

Optimized Gameplay:

Full-screen options, adjustable resolution, and FPS settings cater to your hardware needs.

Balanced Progression:

Experience and drop rates are finely tuned, featuring a plethora of multipliers and events to keep the journey to level 137 interesting and rewarding. If enough people suggest changes in any rates and it makes sense, we'll adjust it!

Exclusive Gear and Skills:

Dive into battles equipped with gear up to level 129 and select custom gear for level 135, all while mastering unique class skills and enjoying passive skills like our new worshipping and fishing!

Class Perks and Skills:

Each of the five available classes brings something special to the table, from Archers with Superman to SS/FB type skills for all classes. There's something new and unique within every class.

Voiced NPCs:

This is one of my favorite features I'm slowly implementing. If this is a common thing within Conquer or other servers, then dang! Either way, BruteCO has some NPCs that actually talk aloud! Thanks to AI this sounds realistic too. I'm slowly implementing more NPCs as we go.. it's time consuming but the end result is so fun and immersive.

Pay-to-Win:

We believe in skill and dedication over wallet size, ensuring a fair playing field for all. You can donate for some benefits but you're better off playing the server in terms of character progression. Our donation system also offers event time which increases exp/drop rates at your discretion.. for everyone!

Active Staff:

Our team is dedicated to enhancing the server and nurturing our community, blending business with passion.

Robust Guild System:

Two guild halls, controlled by the strongest factions, offer a place for allies to strategize, share resources, and prepare for guild wars.

Innovative Systems:

An NPC that hunts for you passively, auto-mining, fishing, your market stall remains when you're offline, a gambling zone, custom skills... every feature is designed to add layers of depth to your BruteCO experience.

Class-Specific Perks:

Each class enjoys specific perks and buffed skills, enhancing gameplay diversity and strategic depth.

Monster Extermination Quests:

Venture across familiar territories to eliminate threats and reap rewards.

Voting Bonuses: Engage with the community and climb the server ranks to earn exclusive bonuses.

The Fragmented Realm:

This exclusive, time-gated dimension offers unique challenges across six floating platforms, each with distinct monsters and coveted map fragments to collect.

Hunting Companion System:

Command a dedicated minion, sending them on missions ranging from exploration to unlock new locations, or resource gathering which nets you passive loot you would typically farm yourself.

Nothing above is in any particular order, it's just what I could think of while writing. There's likely much more you'll experience once you delve into BruteCO!

Your hero's journey in BruteCO is yours to shape, with each class boasting its strengths and unique abilities. The flexibility in free attribute distribution right from the start, with proficiency leveling, various unique skills all ensures that whether you wield a backsword or a poleaxe, your character evolves in a way that mirrors your playstyle and preferences.

A message from me personally..

I assure you that BruteCO isn’t just another server. We began as Conquered Lands Online maybe 5 years ago or so, while I was just getting back into the community and development scene. We didn't close down but rebranded the server as BruteCO to fit with our overall network named BruteNet. Unfortunately after a couple years of being online I had moved thousands of miles away and life overall kind of took over with a career change and all. I didn't have time for the server and had lost some of my work also. With things more stable for me now I had been working on bringing BruteCO back to it's latest state before we had closed by utilizing old patch notes. Here we are. We've been back for a little while now and even have old members with us from when we had first released. Working on BruteCO is a very enjoyable hobby of mine, I learn something new daily and love overcoming challenges. I'm always trying to think of unique and creative additions I can implement within the server. From simple visual client edits to brand new systems within the game, or even recoding old systems for efficiency.. I often have something on the go behind the scenes. It's not usually me taking 2 hours to solve an issue I thought complex yet ultimately was an overlooked uint that I thought was a ulong.. I promise.

Gonna copy what I said on epvp here, but this seems Interesting - looks like you've done quite a lot of work on your own here. Sorry to hear your server has been struggling with player retention, but hopefully you get some of that back by advertising. Honestly, looks like you have a lot of potential. I hope you continue to work on this.

On the topic of AI, I'm actually really happy to see that you haven't leaned super heavily into it. Like, your website descriptions are genuine and not generated, and the same with all your patch notes. That's really refreshing to see. I'm personally not for generative AI as a replacement for talent, but maybe you can consider hiring voice acting for key lines / phrases from super cheap actors in the future? I know a few very talented friends who could possibly do voice acting for a super low cost.

Anyways, gripes on AI aside, good luck with your server.

I found this server after another one snagged my eye on a facebook ad (stupid ad tracking). The other seemed a bit eh and I couldn't find any posts on a site I trusted. That made want to check ones I did trust and I am happy I did.

I have been playing the last few weeks and can honestly say this is the most fun I have had since playing some trashy Epoch servers in the past. Twelve seems to run a tight shop and no funny business that I have seen on other servers in the pasts of GM's messing with the economy/etc. It has been fun reliving the good days in a quicker paced environment. It's definitely not a high rate server as it will take ages to "max", but its nice being able to play and progress a little each day and feel like you aren't dumping every second of your life for a single + upgrade (wait till 10-12 I guess).

I actually had to make an account to even post this, but I have lurked on this site before so not too upset about that. It's also nice seeing Spirited also likes you work (excluding the AI overlord takeover). I look forward to sticking around for awhile and hope others will give the server a chance!

Welcome to the board, and thanks for posting feedback here. Yeah, I think my stance on AI has gotten more closed / strict. :thinking:

I'm mostly against how the AI models are trained using the hard work of creatives across the internet without permission or compensation. Until that improves, then my stance doesn't change. But I do hope that this leads to more evolution in the private server space. Like people considering voice acting for some crucial NPCs. Or different applications of machine learning. That'd be cool. It's nice to see servers like this one experimenting a bit.

Hello, everyone!

Since the birth of this post there has been various updates, such as:

Sandstorm Gauntlet
A wave based instanced survival mini-game.. essentially. Fight through waves of mobs, with a bonus round every 10 rounds with potential rewards. There's no round limit, it's as long as you can survive and continuously gets harder. There are sandstorms that occur randomly and more often as you progress, hindering movement/visibility, halving your damage temporarily. We have rankings on the website also, and the top rank gains a bonus reward weekly.

AI PvP Bot
Battle a player bot in the arena, adjusting difficulties to show your skills within the rankings. There's no rewards related to this system, it's purely for practice and bragging rights.

Fishing Skill
I think there's actually fishing in newer versions? I thought my idea was revolutionary and then seen a clip or something and was like dang! Either way I created a fishing system in BruteCO, similar to mining. Rather than detailing it here I've covered it on the BruteCO YouTube channel. (it was my first vid, don't mind the uhs and ums, I've progressed in the newest video! 😅)


There has been various other improvements and updates since, these are a couple larger ones that come to mind is all. Thanks for reading!
