I've seen around some copies of the alleged leaked server and was wondering if it's possible to actually log into them?

 

I found some files from some mirror links here and had attempted to run them for testing, but the best I could manage was getting the services started, but unable to log in with the console saying: `Unknown Login Packet Type: 1052 Len: 28`

The copy of the files was the one that comes with a "Instructions" txt and the self contained sqladmin, but doesn't mention anything about the client to use. 

I'm not sure what version of the client it's meant to be, but tried several between 5002 and 5065

As far as I know, the early leaked versions were divided into two.
One is version 5065
No tower, no fan, with combat power and flowers
One is version 5087
There are towers, fans, combat power, masters and disciples, and pre updates with some ninjas
And the leaked versions are all in Chinese, while most of the foreign versions are translated

I've tried a 5065 client, same error.

 

Beyond that it starts using an encrypted server.dat, is there an easy way to just redirect that? 

 

I tried the Dragon launcher, it launches the client, but couldn't get any redirect for login.

Someone should have already started them; the specific version depends on the database contents.

Yeah, I'm more so trying to figure out how to log into them. Like what client and login details.

It has the self contained sql server with it, the login details for it have been reset to test/test but reading the data is more involved. 

I'm not sure of an easy way that works to change the IP. The "hooks" either don't work or it complains about a server.dat file read.

 

Wondering if anyone here has gotten onto them and/or has tips.

The client version 5066 does not support local IP, otherwise it will report a server. dat error. For example, 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.* *For this type of IP, either you need to run the server on VPS and connect to VPS locally, or you need to perform a local IP bypass on Conquer. Eliteppper provides a complete tutorial.

There are two public (not so public anymore) binaries:

1. Apr 2008 are ~5048

This one is the cleanest one, I haven't debugged it pretty much and I am not sure if it's a production binary or test server.

2. Oct 2008 are ~5071

This one is of course a test environment binary. It has Flower and Rank modules that are from >=5072 and may work up to ~5078 patch with no issues. If you use the proper client executable you'll be able to even use the Flower rank (this wont open in any binary server).

It wont have the clothes because they've been released at around ~5120-5130.

Unless you want to reverse stuff, do not create a server with this unless you can patch the bugs and exploits.

Use Conquer Loader v5 if you just want to mess with the server.
