Hi @Spirited I think I am at a good state now. Was able to configure the server/client and login. Firstly, I had issues seeing NPCs, and with some gpt help, I could get it shown, but it seems there are no scripts for the NPCs. Also, some NPCs aren't even showing such as the training NPC. So is there a folder where it contains all nps with their respective scripts/jobs? Also, I can see that mobs are completely missing from this server so can confirm this server is a basic learning template so is there another (complete 5017) source code to use?

Hi @Spirited Thanks for the follow-up but still, what after port forwarding? I mean I haven't tried it yet, but I want to know do I need to do anything client side? or just add my IP into the LoaderSet.ini and setup port forwarding and that's it?

Hey @Spirited, Sorry if my question would sound newbie, but I am new to creating a CO Classic server. Currently, I have downloaded this version of the client (5017) and this server alongside the loader as well. All I could do so far is changing the LoaderSet.ini IP to my IP, but not sure I understand the port forwarding part and not sure how to connect the client to the server, so would really appreciate if there is a walkthrough on how to get things working/connected. Thanks!

Hello everyone, couple of days ago I started working on my own private server. Tried multiple clients/servers such as 5017/5065 as I would love to have a classic one. Initially I wanted to have 5017 but after hugely failing to get it working, claude GPT suggested that I move to a newer version, yet classic, such as 5065 as it has recent changes and compatiable with new systems but still, couldn't get it work.. have been trying for 4 days and getting all kinds of errors whether on 5017 or 5065. Tried to debug the errors by adding screenshots to claude so it instructs me on how to proceed, some of the issues were resolved, but the main issue whether on 5017 or 5065 that I am not able to bypass the login screen. Sometimes, wrong id/pw and sometimes server is down or maintenance issue. Is there a real recent client/server for 5017 that I can use with minimal debugging so I can, at least, login to the server and see my character there? Thanks everyone!
